National HLT Network
Welcome to the NHN website! Please feel free to download the reports, tools, data and anything else you may find on this site. This site is for all researchers involved in HLT related research in South Africa.
This web site has been set up to assist in the collaboration between all of the researchers in the National HLT Network. On this site you will find resources that you can use for the collaboration, and for doing your own research in the field of HLT; you can also contribute tools, resources and information that you want to share with other researchers.
Two levels of security are supported on this site:
- Private resources are accessible only to member of the Network, who have logged in to the site.
- Public resources are available to anyone who visits this site.
You will notice that there are three folders, data, tools and documents. Use them by uploading your files into the appropriate folders, or downloading anything you find useful.
To log in to the site, please use the username and password that was distributed as part of the NHN invitation. Once you have done that, go to the documents section, and download the project proposal document there. It will give you some additional information about the goals and the methods of this collaboration.
To add a new news item, log in and click on 'My Folder' (at the top of the page), click on 'Add Item', and select 'News'. You can then follow the instructions; note that you will have to publish your news for it to be visible to all of the users.
Now you know the basics, you'll soon realise how powerful and smart the site is!
Enjoy using it, and please let Christiaan (firstname.lastname@example.org) know of any suggestions, ideas, or criticisms!
